ArcelorMittal Expands XCarb® Low-Carbon Angle Steel For Steel Construction

      ArcelorMittal has launched larger-size XCarb® low-carbon equal angles for structural steel applications. The upgraded S460 grade XCarb® angles extend to L250, suitable for prefabricated steel frames, bracing systems, curtain wall supports and heavy steel structures across Europe. The XCarb® range is produced with recycled steel and renewable power, delivering up to 49% lower embodied carbon versus conventional structural steel. The new product line helps steel fabricators and main contractors meet EU CBAM and green building procurement requirements for low-carbon steel buildings, industrial warehouses and public infrastructure.
