Technical Preparation
Before the installation of the steel structure, the following technical documents shall be available: steel structure design drawings, architectural drawings, relevant foundation drawings, general construction drawings of the steel structure, detailed shop drawings of each sub-project, and other related drawings.
Participate in the joint review of drawings, fully communicate with the owner, design institute, and supervision party, ensure that there is no conflict between the drawings and the engineering design documents of other disciplines, and that the construction coordination with other disciplines is reasonably sequenced.
Prepare the construction organization design and work instructions for each sub-item. The construction organization design shall include: project overview and characteristics, bill of quantities, site layout, planning of utilities, access roads, temporary facilities, etc., main construction machinery and hoisting methods, construction technical measures and cost reduction plan, special construction schemes, labor organization and manpower schedule, Among these, the selection of main hoisting machinery and its layout are the key points of hoisting. The work instruction for sub-items can be into operation cards, mainly used to clarify the operation steps, quality standards, construction tools, inspection contents, and inspection standards for the corresponding procedures to the operating personnel.
According to the specific circumstances of the contracted project, determine the inspection content and applicable standards for the incoming steel components, as well as the division of inspection batches, inspection content, inspection standards, inspection methods, and inspection tools for steel structure installation. On the basis of following national standards, reference shall be made to ministerial standards or other authoritative and recognized standards, and these shall be determined and used in the project.
Organize necessary process tests, such as welding process tests, profiled steel sheet construction tests, and stud welding inspection process tests. Based on the detailed structural drawings, check the stress conditions of the steel structural members during frame installation, scientifically predict possible deformations, and adopt appropriate and reasonable technical measures to ensure the smooth progress of steel structure installation.
Coordinate with relevant local departments such as public security, traffic, landscaping, environmental protection, cultural relics protection, and electric power. Also, consult the local meteorological department for historical meteorological data, and take measures to prevent typhoons, rain, cold, and high temperatures.
