Recently, a Chinese steel structure enterprise has successfully won the bid for the supply and installation of the main steel structure for the upper section above the 120th floor of the Jeddah Economic City Tower in Saudi Arabia. With a planned total height of 1,008 meters, the tower will surpass the Burj Khalifa in Dubai to become the world's tallest skyscraper upon completion.
Construction has currently reached the 100th floor (approximately 400 meters), with overall completion scheduled for 2028. The section awarded in this bid represents the highest and most technically challenging part of the tower, with a total steel usage of tens of thousands of tonnes. It extensively employs ultra-high-strength specialty steel and digital pre-assembly technology to ensure structural safety and installation accuracy for this kilometer-plus supertall building.

The Jeddah Tower is a landmark project at the core of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030." This successful bid once again demonstrates Chinese steel structure industry's globally leading capabilities in supertall buildings, complex structural systems, and high-end overseas projects.
