On May 8, the 2026 Asian Home Expo, Steel Structure Exhibition, and Green Building Exhibition, themed "Green Prefabrication, Smart Future, Global Connectivity through Supply Chains," opened at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo Center. The three exhibitions were held concurrently, creating a synergy of resources. The exhibition area reached 25,000 square meters, bringing together nearly 400 leading brands in the industry, with professional visitors exceeding 31,000 on the opening day.
As a highly influential event for the entire industrial chain of building industrialization in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, this exhibition focuses on five major directions: the construction of "good homes," intelligent steel structure construction, green building material adoption, prefabricated technology innovation, and international production capacity cooperation. It establishes a high-end international platform integrating exhibition, exchange, procurement, and signing, offering the industry a comprehensive event that fully integrates technologies, products, resources, and business opportunities.

On the first day of the exhibition, relevant government leaders and heads of industry authorities toured the venue, focusing on key exhibition areas such as steel structure engineering, modular construction, green building materials, intelligent construction equipment, and prefabricated interior finishing. They gained detailed insights into the practical application results of new processes, new materials, and new equipment, and highly recognized the exhibition's role in promoting building industrialization, green and low-carbon transformation, and international industrial cooperation.
The tour of overseas buyer delegations was particularly noteworthy. A high-level overseas procurement delegation, including representatives from the Russian National Construction Association and Saudi Dan Company, along with international buyers from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the United States, and Central Asia, made intensive visits to key booths. They held on-site negotiations regarding steel structure products, modular buildings, green building materials, and prefabricated components, gaining firsthand insight into China's manufacturing capabilities and technological strengths in the construction industry chain. This laid a solid foundation for subsequent cross-border project collaborations and bulk procurement deals.
At the same time, industry representatives from Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, and Hunan provinces, visiting delegations from construction industry associations in the Greater Bay Area, and groups from local housing and urban-rural development systems and construction enterprises toured the exhibition with precision and engaged in targeted matchmaking. This reflects a positive trend of coordinated development, regional interconnection, and mutual integration across the national construction industry.
With the synergy of the three concurrent exhibitions and a clear thematic focus, this year's event covers core sectors including prefabricated construction, the entire steel structure industry chain, green building materials, modular housing, integrated residences, prefabricated interior finishing, and intelligent construction equipment. Leading companies and benchmark brands gathered, unveiling new products and debuting cutting-edge technologies.
As an important window linking the global construction market, this exhibition created a professional, international, and precision-oriented buyer matrix. Several cross-border supply-demand matchmaking events were held concurrently. The Russian National Construction Association released on-site bulk procurement demands for green building materials, steel structures, and modular buildings, while the Saudi delegation focused on hotel modular construction projects. Domestic and international supply and demand parties engaged in face-to-face negotiations and one-on-one matchmaking, efficiently facilitating the formation of cooperation intentions.
